STARCO launches two innovative wheel and tyre solutions at Agritechnica 2017

From 12 to 18 November, STARCO will join 2,900 exhibitors at Europe’s largest agricultural fair in Germany, Agritechnica, for introducing two new clever wheel and tyre solutions to the market: the innovative HT Pro, a low profile 10 inch solution for haytedders, and STARCO HS Flotation, a premium 17 inch tyre solution for agricultural implements. STARCO’s European Agricultural team will welcome visitors right across Michelin’s superior stand, in hall 3, where the group of experts will present both in-house developed and manufactured products and discuss how the wheel and tyre can improve the performance of different applications.

“Wheels and tyres are often not considered as a possibility to optimise the agricultural vehicle, machine or implement. However, we and our customers know their true potential. This is, for instance, the case of our dual wheels mounted with our patented clamp system, and our new 10 inch and 17 inch solutions,” states STARCO’s Segment Director for Agricultural Implement, Frédéric Ivancich. STARCO branded wheels are developed in-house in close collaboration with key OEM customers and the wheels are produced in STARCO’s Croatian ISO9001 certified steel wheel factory.

At STARCO’s stand, one will also be able to learn more about STARCO’s steel wheels rust preventing e-coat technology and STARCO’s well-known dual wheel system, which will be displayed at the fair at various distributors stands, for instance, Grasdorf.

Two new products
STARCO reinvented the haytedder wheel and launched STARCO HT Pro, a low profile 10 inch tubeless complete wheel solution for haytedders, with an innovative tyre pattern that allows for better performance, enhanced stability, easier maintenance and improved reliability in the field.

“The launch of STARCO HT Pro breaks with the existing tyre traditions and is the first step in the journey towards a maintenance free wheel and tyre solution for haytedders designed and made by STARCO”, proudly states Ivancich, “We want to articulate the major influence poor or perfect wheels have on; for instance, a haytedders performance and reliability,” he concludes.

What makes STARCO HT Pro innovative and how it differs from traditional haytedder tyres will only be revealed on the official product launch, at Agritechnica, on 12 November.

Another new product underway is the STARCO HS Flotation, a premium 17 inch tyre solution perfect for agricultural implements that works hard in the field and rolls fast on the road. The wheel is STARCO engineered, developed and manufactured, and ready for the market when 2018-season starts. At Agritechnica, visitors can experience a full-size virtual-version of the new STARCO HS Flotation. They can learn about its multiple benefits, such as maximum stability, reduced ground pressure, optimum rolling and improved reliability. “Visitors will have to wait for more details until we meet at Agritechnica in November,” smiles Ivancich secretive.
